We've had quite a lot of snow in the last few days down here in Devon - in fact more than we've seen for a number of years and its the second lot we've had in the space of a few weeks.
We're now at the most dangerous point in the snow cycle, its the bit where its compacted, and in some places frozen solid, making it extremely slippery and dangerous, especially on my walk to and from work. Luckily I haven't fallen over yet, but its certainly been interesting!
For those unfortunate enough to fall over and injure themselves it may be possible to claim compensation through specialist personal injury solicitors such as Access Legal. They will be able to advise on whether or not a claim is possible with your particular circumstances. Elbow, ankle and back injuries are especially common when slipping on ice.
We can only wait and see whether this weather pattern will continue throughout the winter and in the years to come, hopefully we will get better at coping with it, but in the meantime, stay safe.
