Radisson Blu Hotel East Midlands Airport Receives £1M Pre-Bookings

The Radisson Blu Hotel East Midlands Airport, due to open in a month's time, has gained pre-opening bookings on £1 million. Insidermedia reports:

Businesses in the region have booked the venue for conferences, events and Christmas parties in upcoming months.
The £22m hotel will comprise 218 rooms and conferencing facilities when it opens next month (October).
Daniel Keane, general manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel East Midlands Airport, said: "There's a real buzz around the area about the hotel and we appear to the name at the top of the wish list for local businesses when they are planning their event and conferences.
"We've got a large wedding party joining us on Christmas Eve, as well as a host of Christmas parties for local businesses large and small."
Last month, the hotel was also awarded an energy performance certification rating of two, making it the "most efficient" in Rezidor's European portfolio of 400 hotels.

The East Midlands Airport hotel is situated close to Nottingham, Leicester and Derby, just minutes from the M1. It features 216 rooms along with on-site dining and fitness centre with pool as well as private parking.
