Etihad Airways win TTG Travel Awards Airline of the Year

Etihad airways add another award to their growing collection by winning the TTG (travel Trade Gazette) Travel Awards Airline of the Year. Etihad are continually expanding the number of destinations, which include regular flights to Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

The judging includes rating from agents as well as representatives from the sector and the awards are presented by the Travel Trade Gazette.

In other categories, East Midlands airport won airport of the year and Queensland won an award for its Q factor promotions in the trade campaigns section.

Commenting on this year's programme, TTG editor Daniel Pearce said that award winners must have qualities that make other companies 'sit up and take notice'.

'We believe our winners, who have each taken the top prize after only the most rigorous of judging processes … have done exactly that,' he added.
